Steve has enjoyed a successful career as an entertainer since his teens. He had two pet snakes in his show. Maria owned a couple snakes of her own and had never dreamed of adding them to her budding modeling career. The two met and reptile shows have never been the same. Maria Gara, aka The SnakeBabe, is now owner/operator of Reptile Rescue.com. Her small but growing Las Vegas compound has a soft spot when it comes to animals that are creepy and crawly, slimy and scaly. Reptiles have become the "Disposable Pet" of the decade. Often, when the animals are no longer wanted they become neglected. Some may be dropped off at Veterinarian offices, others with a friend who has no clue how to properly care for the animal. And even more are left at pet shelters and pet shops. This where where Steve & Maria are contacted to make a pick up.
